"The Young and The Restless" star Eric Braeden has always been an item of rumored exit from the show, but none of those speculations came into fruition. Can the latest round of rumor be true now?
Eric Braeden, who plays Victor Newman in the daytime soap, is not going anywhere. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the rumors about Victor Newman leaving Genoa City flew again when an old article spread on social media. The article that said Braeden is quitting was posted six years ago and fans failed to notice the date.
A fan tweeted the actor to ask if the rumor is true, to which Braeden replied with a meme with his photo saying "Not This Shit Again."
Fans who panicked with the false alarm could rest assured they are going to see much of Victor Newman in the CBS soap because the actor is bound by a contract up to 2017. CDL said there is no negotiations to change that as of now and Braeden doesn't even have a plan to retire yet.
Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) also took to Twitter to address the rumors and said, "Again... Eric is NOT LEAVING THE SHOW!!!"
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers tease that Victor Newman receives an offer of help to rebuild the Newman Enterprises from Billy and Jack. It was destroyed when a fire was set during the Halloween Gala at the new restaurant. Billy and Jack think helping the Newman rebuild the company is the right thing to do. But Jack's wife Phyllis is having none of it.
"You want to save the man who put me through intense humiliation? Why is the hell would you ever want to save Victor?" She asks Jack.
Also, Adam should be transported back to the prison. Will he make it? Or will Victor manage to do something to get Adam out of this?
