"The Last Witch Hunter" actor Vin Diesel posted a Facebook video for his fans last Sunday, teasing his followers about his project line up.
In the video, Diesel gave some updates and teasers on his current films. One is the third XXX (Triple X) installment, where he plays Xander Cage, an athlete turned spy for the National Security Agency. Another is "Guardians of the Galaxy", a Marvel film wherein the actor provides the voices over the character of Groot, a tree-like humanoid. The third project is a big screen adaptation of the 1970's cop drama entitled "Kojak," but he said he wouldn't do the film until a year or more.
The 16-minute video shows a very grateful Diesel on a Sunday morning. He said, "I'm lucky this Sunday because this weekend I was blessed with three great new scripts." He added that he is especially excited about the third XXX movie 'The Return of Xander Cage' because he loves to play the character, and the film contains action of the highest order.
Vin Diesel's video shows his light side, saying he has to make breakfast for his children. He ends his video by giving words of wisdom to his millions of fans saying, "Always believe in yourself," and "...count your blessings."
Just last October, Diesel teased his followers during his interview with Jimmy Fallon while promoting "The Last Witch Hunter." According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed that there would be another Fast and Furious movie come April of 2017.
When Fallon asked if the actor knew where the next Furious installment is set, Diesel shouted eagerly, "New York, baby!" He added that the idea for the plot of the movie came from a Vibe article about street races in New York. According to him, the next Furious movie is the first of a trilogy which will be directed by F. Gary Gray.
