Celebrity Homes for Sale: Hollywood Couple John Krasinski And Emily Blunt Place Ojai Home On The Market

Celebrity couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt is now selling their Southern California home in Ojai after purchasing it in June 2012.

Realtor.com reports that the Hollywood pair of A-listers is seeking $4.25 million for their 1250 Foothill Rd, Ojai residence, a substantial spike in the price after they bought it for $2.15 million just three years ago.

Observers speculate that the price increase is due to additional work poured in by the couple to the house. However, without any photos to the property's interior, it is hard to see if actual improvements were made. The recent listing cites "newly built pool and spa". However,  photos from 2012 revealed what seems to be a very identical pool, according to Fox News.

Still, many experts are convinced that the exterior alone would convince anyone with the funds to acquire the house. The landscaping is stunning and exhibits a traditional feel to it, Fox News cited. The 4,177-square-foot two-story mansion comes with four bedrooms, three and a half baths, and a garage that houses three cars. The house sits on a 5.17-acre lot which TMZ describes as the location of the "first Ojai Foothills Hotel back in 1903."

Krasinki and Blunt's home ushers residence to majestic views of the Ojai Valley, littered with trees and rolling mountains. Located in the calm and peaceful region northwest of Los Angeles, the Ojai Valley appeals to many celebrities who want to take a break from the daily grind of Hollywood and spend time relaxing and recharging their batteries.

Krasinski and Blunt started dating in 2008 and got engaged in 2009. The pair married in Como, Italy on July 10, 2010. Their first child, Hazel, was born on February 16, 2014.

Krasinski is known for his roles in  Cameron Crowe's romantic comedy-drama "Aloha," "Something Borrowed," and "Monsters University" (voice). Blunt has worked in films, TV, and stage. Her notable appearances in film include "The Wolfman," "Looper," "Edge Of Tomorrow" and "Into The Woods."
