A former estate located in California, owned by comedic actor Eddie Murphy has just been listed for $12 million, according to a few news sources.
The Wall Street Journal broke news of the listing and claims that if the residence sells for the asking price, it would be the most expensive sale in Sacramento.
Eddie Murphy and his ex-wife Nicole had decorated the home themselves. They sold the home to realtor Patrick K. Willis in 2007 for $6.1 million, fully furnished. As Willis never really moved into the place, the residence remains untouched and comes with complete Murphy styling.
Listing records state that the estate is a 2.5 acre property. It encompasses a 12,600 square feet main residence and a separate 5200 square feet guest house. Altogether, there are a total of 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. There is 9-car garage, a huge pool and basketball and tennis courts.
The couple, now divorced, purchased the residence back in 1998 for $3.8 million. They built the guest house then. They also added a 'Shrek'-designed bedroom for the kids, which is kind of obvious as Murphy plays the donkey in the 'Shrek' series.
Check out a video here where realtor Candace Taylor explains the property. It has a few pictures as well.
Meanwhile, his North Jersey Carriage house is still listed for $2.5 million. According to the listing records, the home sits on a 1.51 acre lot and the main house comprises of eight bedrooms and five bathrooms. Available property details are sketchy.

Murphy was recently spotted at L.A's Staples Center watching a LA Lakers game.
"The 52-year-old actor looked seriously loved-up with his 34-year-old model girlfriend Paige Butcher as they held hands and kissed one another throughout the game," The Express wrote.
