Rosie O' Donnell, the famous talk show host got a little candid on the Paul &Young Ron Morning Show on 105.9 (Miami/Fort Lauderdale) and Real Radio 94.3 (West Palm Beach/Treasure Coast) revealing why she actually sold her residence at Star Island, Miami, after owning it for 14 long years.
Sometime in June 2013, O'Donnell sold her water-front home in the area for $12.6 million. Back then, exMiami.com reported that she sold because she was not using the home so much and it was 'way too big' for her. However, looks like that wasn't the real reason.
In her latest interview on the radio she revealed that she was fed up with tour boats floating by her house and also grew weary of the never-ending 'craziness' that took over after Lisa Hochstein, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star purchased 42 Star Island Drive, just across the street
So O'Donnell decided to sell, she started looking for homes in places like Jupiter and almost closed in on actress Olivia-Newton John's home but decided otherwise after the builder killed himself on the property, reports GossipExtra.
Listen to the bit below:
O'Donnell purchased the place in 1999 for $6.7 million. The residence first hit the listing market with a $19.5 million price tag in March 2012. However, failing to sell over a year, the home was given a pricechopper bringing the asking price down to $17.5 million.
O'Donnell definitely took a lousy loss on the asking price. The home at 43 Star Island Drive is a two parcel property. The main home is an 11,104 square feet house with 12 bedrooms and 11.5 bathrooms. A separate guest house is included as well.

O'Donnell has grown attached to Florida. She left Miami only to shift to Sarasota where she purchased a four bed-seven bath residence, reports Herald Tribune.
More recently, O'Donnell purchased a French Country estate in Saddle River, New Jersey, for $6.3 million. She also has a home in Manhattan, NYC, and another residence in Chicago as well, reports Realtor.com.
