Eve Plumb of ‘Brady Bunch’ Lists Malibu Property for $4.4 Million; Tour the Original Brady House (VIDEO)

Eve Plumb, who is perhaps best known for playing 'Jan Brady' in the popular seventies comedy series 'The Brady Bunch' , has reportedly listed her home in Malibu for sale with an asking price of $4.4 million, according to a few sources.

The Realtor Blog broke news of the listing. Apparently, the home is being marketed as a land holding. However, the listing mentions that the residence occupies the lot. It is being proffered for the first time since 1969.

Public records state that the land up for sale spans an area of 8906 square feet. The home has about 47 feet of beach frontage and is being touted as one of the best lots available around.

The listing description reads:

Sand, Sand and more Sand! This property offers 47 FRONTAGE FEET on Escondido Beach. With only one direct neighbor, this is a rare opportunity to own ocean front property on Escondido Beach Road to build your dream beach home! One of the best lots located on the private road, this property last transferred ownership in 1969. Though treated as land, an original and well maintained 1950's bungalow currently occupies the site offering three bedrooms and two baths with a large deck. Enjoy use of the bungalow or generate rental income while obtaining plans and permits. All utilities and septic system are in place with the bungalow establishing existing use for a remodel or new structure. The only beachfront land actively on the market under $25,000,000! Don't miss this amazing opportunity!

However, listing photos provide a peek into a beach house with beamed wooden ceilings, carpeted floors, glass doors and windows that provide ample views of the ocean.

Plumb played Jan Brady, the middle daughter of the Brady Bunch, so perfectly that the character was an instant hit. She was jealous of her older sister Marcia Brady, who was beautiful and popular. Jan was always worried about her freckles and hated wearing glasses. She was also mortified that she didn't have a boyfriend. The famous catchphrase 'Marcia Marcia Marcia' was invented by an exasperated Jan because of her frustration with her older sister.

The Brady family lived at 11222 Dilling Street, Studio City, California. Want to see how the real house looks like? Check it out, here.
