Kris Jenner celebrated her 60th birthday on Friday, Nov. 6, with an extravagant Gatsby-themed party thrown by her famous daughters. Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie pulled out all the stops to make the occasion as fabulous as their "momager," even making and appearing in a surprise music video!
According to US Weekly, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters unveiled a music video which they wrote, recorded, and filmed themselves. Entitled "You Love Your Friends," the video is actually a hilarious throwback to Kris' 30th birthday video.
The sisters first showed the 1985 clip, featuring a pre-Bruce Jenner Kris singing while on the gym and driving a car, showing snippets of her lavish Los Angeles lifestyle. "I Love My Friends," Kris sang, replacing the lyrics of Randy Newman's hit "I Love LA."
Then, the video cut to "30 Years Later," and revealed Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie mimicking their mother's antics. They are seen singing on the treadmill and while riding in cars, just like in Kris' original video. They also changed some parts of the lyrics, adding more brands that the famous manager has come to love, such as Chanel, Hermes and Givenchy.
Famous celebrities also made cameos and sent Kris their greetings, including Cindy Crawford, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber. Her four grandchildren were also included, yelling an adorable "she loves you!" line.
But the biggest surprise was the last scene, when Kris' ex Caitlyn Jenner was shown in a hot tub. "I love my friends," Caitlyn toasted, mimicking a scene on Kris' 1985 video. Caitlyn was unable to attend the party.
While the Kardashian-Jenner siblings intended for the video as a hilarious roast to their mother, Kris was definitely touched by her daughters' effort. She posted several photos of her star-studded party on her Instagram account, and included the hashtag "I love my friends" in reference to the funny video.
The party, held at The Lot in West Hollywood, was said to be worth $2 million, according to TMZ. The venue was decked with crystal chandeliers, white balloons and hanging orchids. Guest list included Ryan Seacrest, John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigan, among other celebrities.
Kim reportedly gave a toast to their matriarch, saying, "Mom, I'm going to give this Emmy to you because you were the one who started it all. The show was your idea... we may not have an Emmy now but we will someday."
The Kardashian-Jenner clan will return to the silver screen for the 11th season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," premiering this Sunday on E!
