'Star Wars the Force Awakens' Plot Spoilers: Amazon Reveals Main Character's Lineage

Online marketplace Amazon seemed to be the unlikely source of very significant "Star Wars" information regarding main character Finn, portrayed by John Boyega. Little is known about the character, but a listing in Amazon may have revealed something about the character's identity: his father.

Accding to ComicBook.com, the listing a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle that shows the face of Finn as a "RARE COLLECTIBLE" item. The most interesting part of the description says "Lando Calrissian's Son." This revelation gives traction to rumors that Lando will appear in the recent "Star Wars" movie. However, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" co-writer Lawrence Kasdan told vanity Fair in an interview that Lando's character is not yet done, according to Cinema Blend.

"Right now, there's no Lando Calrissian in this movie. But Lando, I don't think, is finished in any way, shape, or form," said Kasdan.

Calrissian is the smooth-talking gambler and smuggler who last appeared in "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) and "Return of the Jedi" (1983) as a member of the Rebel Alliance. He is also the previous owner of the iconic spaceship, the Millennium Falcon. Lando was portrayed by Billy Dee, who himself hinted that he may have a role in the upcoming "Star Wars" film, according to ComicBook.com.

While introduced as a coward and a backstabber, Lando's character soon developed to become a major figure in the franchise lore. Lando helped in the rescue of fan favorites Luke Skywalker and Han Solo as well as being responsible for the destruction of the second Death Star.

Movie experts say that if Finn is indeed Lando's son, then it is a fitting transition from the old to the new. Finn is shown in the trailers as a potential member of the Jedi Order and looks to do a lightsaber duel with the film's main protagonist Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver.

Another rumor that is constantly discussed by and among "Star Wars" fans is the parentage of Rey, portrayed by Daisy Ridley. Screenrant reports that fans speculate that Rey could be a member of the Skywalker family.

No official statement has been issued yet by the Lucasfilm and from the production management regarding the potential revelation in the Amazon listing.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hits U.S. theaters on Dec. 18.
