‘Super Mario Maker’ Update: Adds, Totem Link, Checkpoints More Share; An Enjoyable Go Signal to Tri Force Heroes

The developers of "Super Mario Bros" recently added an update for some new features. Gamers can now put checkpoint flags as well as place power-up blocks that distribute power-ups based on Mario's present status. Moreover, a new idea called Event Courses was updated, which lets Nintendo highlight levels created by other business partners and experts. It was really substantial news, particularly thinking that gamers aren't really awaiting updates and they are stuck with a few team leads in Nintendo to get some news about it.

Yoshikazy Yamashita, Takashi Tezuka and Yosuke Oshino, Co-Director, Producer and Director of the game, were the ones who released the good news. It looks like this detail was something that was well-planned since day one, possibly because of time restrictions. The added features were thought based on both external and internal requirement.

The recent add-on is actually something that fans had already been wishing during "Super Mario's" development. They had an entire concept of wanting to add more players' interaction and enjoy the game to the fullest after its release, and the update being released recently was one of the concepts that came out of the gamers' forums.

Lastly, gamers get restricted power-up items that lets mini Mario to become Super Mario if he beats on the Question Block, however if he's already Super Mario, that similar Question Block will provide him Fire Flower. This was something that was in the first "Super Mario Bros" and was something created by Mr Nakago, an NCL staff member. Nakago was very determined to make sure this was applied in "Super Mario Maker" as well as saying, "It just wouldn't be Super Mario without it."

"Super Mario Maker" was exclusively launched for Wii U back in September, and based on Nintendo's latest ROI, it sold 1.88 million units since the launch.
