Rob Zombie of ‘White Zombie’ Sells Hancock Park Home for $3.65 Million

Rob Zombie, the founding member and vocalist of heavy metal band 'White Zombie' has sold his Hancock Park home for $3.65 million, according to a few real estate sources.

Zombie managed to unload the residence about a year after listing it. He also took a loss on the asking price. The home was listed in Sep 2012 for $3.9 million.

According to the listing records at Realtor.com, the residence is a 6249 square feet, tudor-style home sitting on a prime 0.52 acre lot. Comprising of six bedrooms and five bathrooms, the home has hardwood flooring, wood-beamed ceilings and French doors and windows.

Living spaces include a large living room, a separate dining area and a pub room. Outside, the home has ample greens, a shapely pool and a pool-house as well.

Check out the photos of the home, here. One of the photos shows a large, standing polar bear in the living room. We aren't sure if the buyers loved the home or the bear more.

The ferocious-looking bear is nothing compared to the gore and 'horror culture' Zombie usually indulges in. In fact, he even got married on 'Halloween's Day' (although it was co-incidental).

After his success with the band, Rob started directing horror movies as well. In 2000, Rob completed his first horror film 'House of 100 Corpses'. The movie released in 2003 amid much anticipation, but failed. It grossed about $12.6 million domestically.

Rob is currently preparing for the Singapore Rock Festival slated to be held in March. He will be joined by other musicians like Korn and Alice in Chains for the event, reports Yahoo.
