The former Malibu residence of Lee Majors, the famous television personality best known for playing Steve Austin on the seventies hit series 'The Six Million Dollar Man', has hit the rental market with a monthly asking of $72,500 a month, according to some real estate reports.
The Realtor Blog broke news of the rental. Majors lived in the Malibu residence for quite some time before selling it off in 1991 for $4.9 million. Larry Hagman, the late 'Dallas' star happened to be his neighbor then.
Bonus: The fact that the two were neighbors in Malibu was the driving force behind Majors' guest appearance on Hagman's show 'Dallas'. The two developed a great bond.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Hagman said:
"I would see Larry every weekend and we would be having a little champagne. We would just enjoy each other's company. We never would discuss our work because that was the last thing you wanted to talk about."
The house was last listed for $19.25 million in 2011 and eventually sold a little less than the asking price - $18 million the following year.
However, if you want to rent the place in the summers, you will have to shell out an extra $77500 for the place.
