Kourtney Kardashian Selling ‘Alice in Wonderland Meets Beetlejuice’ Themed Home

Kourtney Kardashian, one of the famous sisters of the 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' fame will reportedly put her house in Calabasas, Los Angeles, for sale next week, according to several news reports. Parts of the house look like a cross between scenes straight out of 'Alice in Wonderland and BeetleJuice'

Kourtney, who has a penchant for interior decoration, revealed in an exclusive interview with Domaine that this residence was her first ever project and she was completely involved in it. Interior decorator Jeff Andrews and Kourtney herself did up the colorful house.

The news of the upcoming listing is a little surprising. It has been just a month since Kourtney finished doing up the place. So, why exactly is she selling?

"I love every single thing about this house, but I'm excited to take on a new project," she said in the interview. Apparently, Kourtney is ready to take over a blank canvas project.

While the home has yet to be listed officially, Kourtney recently opened doors of her four bed- four and a half bath, vibrant house to InStyle magazine. Photos from the feature show dark hardwood floors, French doors and windows and lovely designs. Each room is customized for the family of four (Koirtney shares the home with boyfriend Scott Discik and their two children: Mason , 4 and Penelope, 1).

The living room is the most intriguing, with the floors and walls done up in chessboard print. The interesting design of the room is perhaps why the home is being touted as an 'Alice's wonderland meets Beetlejuice's weird' space.

There is a separate dining room, a family room, a playroom that's got Mason and Penelope's name written in chalk-print on the walls and cute kiddo graffiti as well. The kitchen and master bedroom is as suave as it could get.

Apparently, Kourtney is super excited about searching for a new home now. Will she settle for another residence in Calabasas? Or do they want to move to another place. Whatever the location, she definitely wants a larger place.

"Our family is bigger since we moved in. I'd like to have a guest room and more space outside for the kids," she quipped in the interview with Domaine.

Maybe she could just pull an in-house deal and buy sister Khloe Kardashian's house. Khloe and estranged husband Lamar Odom have their Los Angeles home listed for $5.4 million, and darling sister would definitely oblige with a discount.

Meanwhile, last we caught up with the other sister Kim Kardashian, she and her rapper fiancé Kanye West were looking for a larger place to bring up their little daughter North West.
