Shakira, the 'Waka Waka' hitmaker has reportedly given her home in Miami a $2 million pricechopper. The residence is now asking $12.9 million, according to a few sources.
The Latina crooner purchased the place for around $3.3 million sometime back in September 2001. She first listed the residence for $14.9 million in July 2013.
Wondering why she listed the place for that much? Apparently, Shakira gave the place some great touches, adding three extra bedrooms to the already existing trio and added four more bathrooms as well, reports Forbes. She also expanded the initial 6672 square footage to 8355 square feet, adding an extra 1683 square feet to the residence.
According to Zillow, the home was once listed back in 2011 for an unknown amount. Perhaps it was a private listing. However, it was removed in March 2012.
Currently, the home has six bedrooms and eight full and one half bathroom all done up with exquisite style. The home exudes a "Zen" aura all clad in white, set against a blue Miami sky backdrop. Interiors of the home feature an open floor plan, hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and large slider doors. Apart from the usual living spaces, there is a gym too.
Outside, the home has spacious sitting areas, a nice clear pool and a private deck too.

While Shakira just knocked of a couple of millions from the asking price of her South Beach property, she was recently spotted in Barcelona making some last minute preparations for baby son Milan's first birthday.
Milan will be celebrating his birthday Jan 22 in his birth city, reports Daily Mail.
