A Chinese website is reported to have leaked the external looks and the price of the upcoming iPhone contender HTC One X9.
According to Design and Trend, the Chinese micro-blogging website known as "Weibo" has revealed the external appearance and pricing details of the rumored iPhone clone to be released by HTC in 2016. HTC has already come under fire for allegedly copying Apple's iPhone design and applying it in the recently launched One A9. Still, the company has announced its plan use the same design in the following mid-range and low-range releases.
Dubbed as "HTC One X9", its photos are making rounds on the Internet. From the leaked photos, it looks like another iPhone clone is about to hit the market. A promo image can be found in 9to5 Google and the top and bottom promo image is superimposed with a tag line that says, "pursuit of brilliance" and "packed with city smarts." The "HTC One X9" is expected to carry a price tag of about $472.
Now that consumers already have an idea of how the upcoming HTC phone will look and how much it will cost, what about the specs. According to Phone Arena, the "HTC One X9" will have a 5-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display and will be powered by either Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipsetor a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor. It might also include a 4 GB of RAM, a 4 MP Ultra Pixel front-facing camera, a 23 MP rear camera and 3500 mAh battery. Memory could perhaps be expandable to 64 GB or 128 GB
It is safe to treat the leaked promo image with a grain of salt. But knowing that HTC has produced One X, which is considered to be one of the best Android smartphones to date, there is a chance that the rumored HTC One X9 could be another cutting edge flagship from HTC.
