After the premiere of his latest movie, "The Last Witch Hunter," Vin Diesel shared to his fans more information about two of his upcoming films, which will be shown in the next two years.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Diesel posted updates on his Facebook page about his upcoming projects, namely, "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" and the next installment of the "XXX" franchise. It was earlier reported that Diesel will be coming back to play as Groot in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," and Diesel revealed on his Facebook page that his son is particularly excited about his comeback.
In the video that he posted, Diesel expressed his excitement after receiving the script for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." He praised James Gunn for being a great writer and he even showed a disc labeled "Awesome Mix, Vol. 2" in the video. In the 16-minute video, he also said that dancing is one of the things people need to look out for in the film as it is a big part in the upcoming sequel based on what he read on the script.
Meanwhile, Latin Post reports that Diesel also talked about the next installment in the "XXX" movie franchise, which is titled "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage." Diesel revealed that the script was written by Chad St. John, and he described it as "action of the highest order."
He added that fans can see some extreme sports in the film. He also expressed his excitement as he said that playing the character of Xander Cage has always been fun for him.
In the beginning of the video, Diesel said that he received three great scripts over the weekend, and one of them is for a movie where he will play the role of Kojak. However, he did not reveal more details since he said that it won't come out anytime soon.
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will premiere on May 5, 2017, while the filming of "XXX 3" will begin in December this year.
