Kourtney Kardashian’s Calabasas Home Officially Lists for $3.5 Million

It's official. Kourtney Kardashian's much talked about 'Alice in Wonderland Meets Beetlejuice' mansion in Calabasas, Los Angeles, has hit the market with a $3.5 million price tag, according to sources.

The Los Angeles Times broke news of the listing.

Earlier Kourtney had revealed in an interview with Domaine that she wanted to take on a new house to put her interior decorating expertise at use.

"I love every single thing about this house, but I'm excited to take on a new project," Kourtney said in the interview. She went ahead and posted pictures of the home on Instagram as well.

While the home has been described to be a cross between 'scenes straight out of 'Alice in Wonderland and BeetleJuice', the official listing claims the residence is a 'dramatically re-imagined' traditional single family home spanning an area of 5400 square feet. The two-story house sits on a plush private 0.52 acre lot comprising of four bedrooms, four full and one half bathrooms.

Each room is customized for the family of four (Kourtney shares the home with boyfriend Scott Discik and their two children: Mason , 4 and Penelope, 1). The living room is the most intriguing with the floors and walls done up in chessboard print. There is a separate dining room, a family room and a playroom. The kitchen and master bedroom are suave.

Outside, the home has an amoeba-shaped pool, ample recreation area and a four-car garage.

An excerpt of the listing description reads:

The open floor plan provides an entry breezeway and courtyard with detached office/library including built-in book cases and fireplace. The breathtaking formal living room is enhanced by vaulted ceilings. Formal dining room offers wine storage and overlooks the city views. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with all Wolf appliances, 4 dishwasher drawers, cappuccino maker and opens up to the spacious breakfast area and family room. An upstairs bonus room with built-ins services the 3 meticulously detailed secondary bedroom suites. The master bedroom wing features a large sitting area with built-in desk, balcony over looking views, 2 walk in closets, and a spa like bath sheathed in designer marble accents. Rear grounds have a pool, spa, and covered loggia all showcasing the jetliner city views beyond

More recently, Kourtney purchased NFL player Keyshawn Johnson's house for an undisclosed amount, which supposedly is her next project.

With all the Kardashian drama going on (Khloe getting a divorce, selling the Tarzana home shared with ex-husband Lamar Odom and the rest) word has it that Kourtney wants Khloe to move in right next to her in Calabasas!

"Kourtney is definitely pushing me to rent the house, like, directly next to hers. Literally she has been saying 'we could build a tunnel that could connect our houses so we could hang out'," Khloe said on an episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.

But why is Kourtney saying it? Because apparently, Khloe feels very uncomfortable in the house she shared with Odom, reports HollywoodLife.com.
