Patrick Dempsey News: ‘Grey's Anatomy’ Star Seen Holding Hands with Ex-Wife Jillian in a Romantic Holiday in Paris; Did They Get Back Together?

The latest Patrick Dempsey news may be reason for celebration for some of his fans. The "Grey's Anatomy" star was spotted hand in hand with his former wife of 15 years, Jillian, in Paris on Sunday. Their latest sighting easily set off rumors that they may be giving their love a second chance.

After departing "Grey's Anatomy," the 49-year-old actor quickly landed a role in the upcoming film, "Bridget Jone's Baby." The most recent Dempsey news is something his fans would be happy to hear about after his long relationship with his former wife had gone astray. Their sighting seemed to suggest that they are happy together again as they strolled in the Paris street while holding each other's hands, Us Weekly reports.

Patrick and Jillian wore matching outfits and were spotted enjoying their romantic getaway in the city of love. They strolled through bikes together and took pictures.

The "Can't Buy Me Love" actor and the makeup artist visited the popular Pont des Arts and the Love Lock Bridge, where couples put their own locks as a symbol of their love for each other. The exes both shared their picture on their Instagram accounts but  were careful in not mentioning each other during their recent Paris vacation, Entertainment Online reports.

It is not yet confirmed whether the former couple has gotten back together. Both are in Europe for their work engagements, and it seemed that they agreed to see each other in between their breaks.

The actor, known for his role as Dr. Derek Shepherd, is busy filming with Renee Zellweger while Jillian has been touring with Jennifer Lawrence as the actress' makeup artist for the promotion of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2."

In January, the estranged couple announced their divorce after Dempsey was dragged in a messy scandal with one of his crew members in the famous TV show. "It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage," the couple told PEOPLE. "Our primary concern remains the well-being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family's privacy at this very sensitive time."

Their divorce papers cited irreconcilable differences. Jillian asked for spousal support and a mutual custody of their three kids, Tallula, Darby, and Sullivan. Three months after, they decided to put their Frank Gehry-designed Malibu estate in the market.

Do you think the two got back together?
