NFL Coach Wade Phillips Lists Dallas Home for $2.9 Million

Wade Phillips, the popular NFL coach who is having trouble finding a job right now, has decided to shift his focus on property matters and listed his home in Dallas, Texas, for $2.9 million, according to some reports.

The Realtor Blog broke news of the listing. Phillips purchased the home sometime back in 2007, soon after he was roped in to coach the Dallas Cowboys.

However, this is not the first time he has listed the place. It appeared on the market for a short while in 2011 and 2012 for $3.2 million, both the times separately before being taken off the market. It has now returned with a pricechopped cost.

According to the listing records, the residence is a 8742 square feet single family home, sitting on a 0.46 acre lot. Comprising of five bedrooms, six full and two half bathrooms, interiors of the home feature paneled hardwood flooring, high mixed wood beamed ceilings and large glass windows and doors.

Exclusive features of the home include a wine room, a large office and a modern kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Outside, the home has a casita and a pool in the backyard. An open patio and a landscaped garden adorn the front of the residence.

The listing description reads:

Fabulous Texas Hill Country home is full of charm. Cathedral ceiling in formal living room, beamed ceiling in the den & kitchen. Den with french doors leading to a perfectly landscaped yard with pool. The large kitchen has wonderful sitting area. Downstairs master has walk in closets and spa-like bath. 5 wood burning fireplaces. Dont miss the adorable Casita with full bath!! Access to St. Marks outdoor sports facilities from backyard!!!

We hope the home sells soon so Phillips can bag some cash. As of now, his funds must be running out as he has not landed a job with any of the 31 teams. Apparently, he thinks his age is 'working against him', reports NBC Sports. He has been actively displaying his desperation and disappointment on twitter as well.
