"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley once again slammed rumors that they like each other more than just friends.
According to iSchool Guide, James and Woodley are being paired with each other for the past couple of years despite the fact that they are in a relationship with other people. Fans of the onscreen couple are also so dedicated to the duo's partnership that they keep on pushing James and Woodley with each other. This reportedly has caused some problems between James and his real-life girlfriend Ruth Kearney.
Meanwhile, there were also some rumors that James and Woodley are in a secret relationship with each other. Since James previously said that he doesn't like talking about his personal life, it's reportedly possible that he's also doing a good job at hiding his real relationship status with Woodley.
According to Master Herald, the actor isn't also the type of celebrity who enjoys reading about himself online.
"Theo James was reportedly not a fan of the idea of reading about himself on the Internet very often, as he saw it was something that can fuel one's negative perceptions of themselves with the wrong kinds of articles," the publication reported.
In other news, James and Woodley slammed reports that they are in a relationship with each other as the former publicly kissed Kearney while they were vacationing in France.
However, some fans believe that James and Kearney's kiss in Prague was fake. Some of them cited the fact that James isn't the type of celebrity who wants to expose his relationship with Kearney publicly. Thus, some fans believe that this move was just a way of James shutting down rumors that he has feelings for his "Insurgent" co-star.
