If changing the world just needed 'one sip at a time', it could be done anywhere. Even in the Hamptons.
According to several sources, Scarlett Johansson, the Avengers actress who has been in the headlines for her SodaStream/Oxfam controversy lately, has just dropped $2.2 million on a shingled house in the Bay area of Long Island's Hamptons.
The New York Post reports that the residence Johansson splurged on is a 3500 square feet, single family residence, sitting on a prime 1.4 acre lot. The two-story house comprises of four bedrooms, four full and one half bathroom.
Zillow got hold of some photos of the house that show plush interiors. Dark hardwood flooring, wood framed windows, slider doors and drywall ceilings with an open floor plan make up the interiors.
Outside, the home has ample greens, beach view and an outdoor pool as well.

Scarlett Johansson recently stepped down from the post of ambassador for Oxfam, a charitable group after she had a 'difference of opinion' over support for SodaStream, an Israeli soda-making company.
A statement from Ms Johansson's spokesman stated that the actress has "respectfully decided to end her ambassador role with Oxfam after eight years," according to the Associated Press.
"She and Oxfam have a fundamental difference of opinion in regards to the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement. She is very proud of her accomplishments and fundraising efforts during her tenure with Oxfam," it added.
Johansson will still be endorsing SodaStream. In fact, she has also shot an advert for the soda firm, which also got into controversy for dissing Pepsi and Coke. The company had to censor the advert, which is now banned. It was slated to air during the upcoming Super Bowl.
