'Samsung Galaxy' News, Reports, Rumors, Leaks: Alleged 'Golden Galaxy 3' Gets TENAA Certified, Flip Smartphone With 16 MP Rear Cam and 3 GB RAM

The certain Samsung SM W2016 smartphone that has been spotted listed last month on GFXBench has recently received a TENAA certification. The phone, alleged to the the "Golden Galaxy 3", had its key specs revealed in the TENAA certification, though no images were unveiled.

According to what was revealed, the device will have an octa core 2.1 GHz processor and it will have a 3.9 inch displays of  768 x 1280 (internal and external). It was also said that the phone will have 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage with no microSD slot for expansion. For the camera the "Golden Galaxy 3"  will come with a 16 MP primary camera and a 5 MP front camera. The weight will be 204 grams and the measurement will be 120.4 x 61 x 15.1 mm. The new "Golden Galaxy 3" will run Android Lolipop 5.1.1 from the box and the only available color is, yes, you guessed it right, Gold.

This new phone was spotted last month in the Zauba listing with a price of around 360 Euro to 420 Euro (original price listed was INR 26 725). This price listing showed that the  "Galaxy Golden 3" was imported in India, which simply suggests that this phone isn't just meant to be launched in Korea alone.

So far, it is almost certain that the SM W2016 that got TENAA certified is the "Samsung Galaxy Golden 3" since the original "Golden Galaxy flip" that was released more than one year ago had a model number of SM W2014. There was also a leak about a certain SM W2015 last year, though it was never brought up again. It may have certainly been the "Samsung Galaxy Golden 2" flip phone.

With the flip phone technology being gone for many years now, Samsung takes a really risky step with the "Samsung Galaxy Golden 3". However, there really isn't no room for negative judgement here as this phone comes with a rather impressive phone specs. It is just a matter of preference as the "Samsung Galaxy Golden 3" is clearly a mash up between an old flip phone and an Android smartphone.
