Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert Beef: Singer Icons Fighting Since the Latter Broke Up With Blake Shelton; More Details on Their Escalating Feud

Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert's beef seems to be taking new heights after it has been reported that despite their reunion on stage, the singers hold strong grudges against each other.

OK! Magazine first reported about Swift and Lambert's feud. The tabloid via Movie News Guide claimed that the singers' row started a few years back, but it got intense during the summer when Lambert divorced her husband, Blake Shelton. The "Bad Blood" singer is said to be close with "The Voice" judge and thinks of him as her older brother. However, the American country music singer's split brought a strain to her relationship with the pop singer.

"They cannot stand each other and on backstage they supposedly barely said a word to each other," a source told the tabloid. "Taylor adores Blake in a big-brother way. She's always been closer to him, and Miranda hated that. Despite their alleged differences, though, the 25-year-old invited Miranda to perform with her on Oct. 21 - but it was all for show."

According to a witness, the Oct. 21 performance of Lambert with Swift was a totally favorable act for Lambert as it was a good way to rebuild her not-so-good reputation these days following her divorce and cheating scandals. Her management reportedly thought that getting on stage with a golden girl like Swift could boost Lambert's lost stars and help repair her image, Hollywood Life reports.

Swift and Lambert's beef reportedly started after a failed collaboration in the past. Since that time, witnesses claimed that there was a noticeable tension between them. The "Mama's Broken Heart" singer reportedly thinks the 25-year-old songstress is "fake and tacky," while Taylor allegedly believes that Shelton's ex is a "bully." The "Shake It Off" singer supposedly hates how bad she is with people, including her former husband.
