Nicole Richie and Husband Joel Madden Fetches $2.67 Million From Sale of Hollywood Hills Home

Actress and Fashion Designer Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden just sold their Hollywood Hills home for $2.67 million. They bought the property six years ago for $1.912 million.

According to LA Times, the "architectural" property, as the listings described it, was built in 1914 and has been expansively remodeled while enclosed inside gated walls. The one-third acre property includes luxurious features such as a skylight dome that sits on top of 6,300 square feet of living space. Inside the house, there is an office, an atrium, a gym, a den, and a family room.

Nicole and Joel's five-bedroom, six-bath home has an attached guesthouse that has its own access to the courtyard. It has a dining courtyard that has a barbeque area. The dining courtyard is adjacent to a splendid kitchen.

Other amenities include a lagoon-style pool with a beach entry and a waterfall spa. The luxurious private property would not be complete without its play area.

According to the State Partners, their Beverly Hills compound was initially listed of $3.495 million in May after purchasing a property in the Beverly Crest area for $6.7 million.

According to LA Times, 34-year-old Richie is currently the executive producer of her very own TV show "Candidly Nicole" that follows her daily life. She has also appeared on the reality series "The Simple Life." She is the daughter of the famous American singer Lionel Richie.

On the other hand, 36-year-old Joel Madden is currently the front man of American punk band Good Charlotte. He is also currently a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. He and Nicole married in 2010. They share two children, daughter Harlow and son Sparrow who are seven and six, respectively.
