'Fallout 4' Gets Positive Reviews; Players say Bethesda Sets a New Bar for Video Games, Tackle About Features and Glitches

The reviews are out for Fallout 4 and according to Twinfinite, it is a great leap for the Bethesda series as it enlivened the previous versions while keeping the experience gamers have grown to love.

The game is set in a little town in Boston called Sanctuary Hills, in the year 2077. Your mission is to retrieve something that was taken from you. As you set out from Vault 111, you realize that you are faced with a wasteland rich in disintegration and decay. But for some reason, you feel that there is still hope and life could be regained. And to ignite that hope, that life, is your greater purpose.

Similar to the previous versions, you are free to do what you want as you interact with the people and the environment. You may help or turn away from them depending on your discretion, but eventually they will look up to you because they know you have the inclination to help them. And they too, will help you as you try to decipher the unfamiliar setting you are in.

Transitions and pacing are rather fast and abrupt. One moment you are trying to penetrate a faction, and you realize that you hold power over that faction just within a very short period of time, without any notice.

One addicting feature of the game is how you can build structures for the people you save where they can find safety and rehabilitation. You get to interact with the characters more because you can actually personalize each location and these will be eventually rewarded as these are proven to be useful investment.

Because of its scale, bugs are inevitable with Fallout 4. PC World reports that when you try to fast travel to a location named 'Ticonderoga,' it would most like result to crash-to-desktop. Also, there are quest lines that do not work. One moment, you talking to the characters and the next moment they are walking away from you or just blankly staring at you, forcing you to repeat the conversation.

Reviewers see Fallout 4 as a game that fans of the series as well as newcomers could easily engage in. The challenging combat combined with a sensible story, as well as the power of the character to customize as he sees fit, would surely enthrall gamers to a whole new level.
