'Zoolander 2' Posters: Look at the Sequel's Two New Selfies

"Zoolander" gets a new poster showing the blue-steeling model Derek giving his best duck face ever.

Back in 2001 when selfies have not yet been invented and flip cellphones where considered hip, "Zoolander" sensationalized the iconic "blue steel" look of the male model played by Ben Stiller. Now, a time when selfies, duck faces and Instagram among others are considered essentials for narcissists, Derek Zoolander and Hansel are returning to go with the flow and show us that after 15 years they still got it.

According to Polygon, Paramount Studios has just released two new posters to promote the "Zoolander" sequel. The first poster shows rival-models-turned-BFFs Derek Zoolander and Hansel each seeming immersed in taking a selfie with their cellphones. While Ben Stiller is shown wearing a glittery sequined suit, Owen Wilson is shown wearing his extravagant furry white costume.

The other poster looks like an imitation of a perfume ad with a close-up of Ben Stiller's face in Black and White and his fingers flashing a number two. The phrase "Long Time No Z" have been superimposed at the top of both posters and at the bottom is the sequel's title "Zoolander No. 2."

According to TIME, the posters portray the promise of "Zoolander No. 2" that the original movie's exaggerated representation of the fashion world has been of course updated to reflect the modern trends. Obviously, Derek had ditched his micro flip phone with a wide smartphones so he could endless capture his "perfect" blue steel selfie. The poster also shows that Hansel is just as obsessed with his looks as Derek.

Will Ferrell and Christine Taylor will reprise their roles in sequel. Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz and Billy Zane will also be joining the "Zoolander" bandwagon. While Justin Justin Bieber and Kanye West are rumored to have cameo roles in the film.

"Zoolander 2" will come to theaters on Feb. 12, 2016. In the meantime here is the teaser.
