Bethenny Frankel and Toni Morrison are passing each other in the night, so to speak - the reality TV star and talk show host is moving out of New York City's coveted Tribeca neighborhood just as the Nobel Prize-winning author is moving in.
Morrison has purchased a three-bedroom, three bathroom condo in the neighborhood's Textile Building for $3.8 million, the New York Post reported.
According to the NYC-based newspaper, the 2,300-square-foot apartment boasts a clear view of the Empire State Building.
Built in 1901, the building was designed by the same architect who designed The Dakota and The Plaza Hotel. In 1999, developer Yitzchak Tessler converted the structure into 46 condominium apartments. Overseeing the conversion were architects Karl Fisher and Alan Ritchie.
According to StreetEasy, the apartments range in from 1,300 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet. As a resident, Morrison will have at her disposal a bike room and gym, parking, children's play area, media room, garden courtyard and rooftop terrace.
Paying homage to the structure's history, the building includes displays of antique American textiles, as well as weaving machine motifs embossed on the elevator doors, according to City Realty.
The building only has one active sale listed - a 5-bedroom for just under $8 million, and one rental for $6,500.
