Basketball superstar, Lebron James just purchased a $21 million mansion.
TMZ reported that a company owned by Lebron just bought a colonial-inspired mansion on Rockingham, Brentwood Community in L.A. for $21 million. Lebron's mansion is just a couple of blocks away from O.J. Simpson.
According to Variety, the luxurious mansion is a 9,350-square-foot home with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The mansion was designed by mansion specialist Ken Ungar which was built in 2011.
Mark David of the Variety wrote that the mansion has a stone and white brick-clad exterior which leads to living and dining rooms which have fireplaces and wood floors.
The kitchen is fitted with slab marble back splashes, with high-quality stainless steel appliance.
The master's bedroom has a two-way fireplace with a private sitting room, marbled bathroom and private terrace.
The outside part of the mansion has a lap-lane swimming pool, cabana, and a long deck where panoramic sunset can be viewed.
Meanwhile, ESPN shared that Lebron purchasing the L.A mansion is not an indication that he is interested in playing for the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers.
The source said that, "This is not a basketball decision," and added that "He enjoys L.A. as a vacation spot and as a place to relax in the offseason."
It has been reported that in James' contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he has a player option of $24 million for the next season. Lebron can choose to opt out and become a free agent next summer.
As the source said, "His entertainment business interests are continuing to expand, and it gives him a place to conduct business from in the offseason too."
