‘The Young and The Restless’ Alum Eden Riegel Joins ‘Youthful Daze’

Web series soap "Youthful Daze" has cast another former star of the daytime soap "The Young and The Restless" Eden Riegel, Soap Shows has reported.

Eden Riegel played as Heather, Paul's daughter, in Y&R from 2010 to 2011. Riegel will appear in the upcoming season 4B of "Youthful Daze" slated to premiere on Feb. 20, 2016. Details of her role is yet to be revealed.

Riegel also stars as Seven in a new web series called "Club 5150" which premiered on Nov. 9. In addition to Y&R, Eden is known for her role in "All My Children," "American Pie" and "The Prince of Egypt." She won "Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series" in 2005 for playing Bianca Montgomery in "All My Children."

In a related "Youthful Daze" casting news, "The Young and The Restless" alum Cady McCain was also added to the web series' cast last month. McCain told Soap Shows, "I did some research when I got the call and thought wow, this is a really neat show. It's quite innovative in terms of serial storytelling as a web series. It integrates all different genres into one. It's not just soap, and it's not just a drama."

"The writing is impressive. It took me a little while to read all 400 pages of the series. It's all plotted out very carefully; it's thoughtful. There's a definite arc to everything, and it's very character driven," she added.

The Daytime Emmy award-winning actress is known for her role in "All My Children" and "As The World Turns."

The fast becoming popular web series "Youthful Daze" is written and directed by Bryan James who also stars in the show along with Chrishell Stause and Mike C. Manning. Stause is a former star of "Days of Our Lives." DOOL alum Guy Wilson (ex-Will) and "General Hospital" former star Carolyn Hennesy (ex-Diane) are also part of the YD cast.
