Hilton &Hyland Chairman Rick Hilton Buys NYC Pied-a-Terre for $2.52 Million

Rick Hilton, chairman and co-founder of Hilton and Hyland real estate brokerages, has purchased a unit at the Pierre Hotel and Residences on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City, for $2.52 million.

The Real Estalker broke news of the sale. Apparently, Hilton and his wife Kathy Hilton will be using the place as a pied-a-Terre. Listing records show that the place was originally listed for $2.75 million. However, seems like Hilton got a discount on the deal (perks of running a real estate brokerage perhaps).

The residence at the Pierre Hotel is a one bedroom, two bathroom condo boasting of dark hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and drywall ceilings. The home provides ample views of the city's skyline.

A formal foyer opens into a large living room that also has access to the kitchen. The master bedroom has two huge walk-in-closets and one large bathroom.

Check out the photos of the home, here.

Building services include 24/7 concierge, a twice-daily maid service, on-call doctors around the clock and much more.

Rick and Kathy still own a large mansion in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, daughters Paris Hilton and Nikki Hilton graced real estate headlines recently. A property that Paris once owned (its listing had some 'interesting' clauses) sold for an unknown price. Nicky also was selling her Hollywood Hills home last we caught up.

The penthouse atop this hotel was once owned by the late financial expert, Martin Zweig. That residence was listed for a much talked about $125 million price tag, making it one of the most expensive listings of NYC. However, the listing has been given a pricechop and now asks $95 million (Still pricey).
