Pizza magnate John Schnatter lists Park City condo for record price

John Schnatter, founder and owner of Papa John's Pizza, the third largest pizza chain in the United States, has split his luxury vacation property at the elite St. Regis Deer Valley building into two separate condos and put up them for sale.

The furnished apartment alone was listed for $17.99 million - the highest listed price ever for any condo in Utah, according to a report in Zillow.com.

However, Deseret News says that while the entire condominium, located atop the 11th floor of the building, has been listed, Schnatter plans to keep the condo that is not sold first.

The furnished penthouse includes 6,892 square feet of living space, comprising five bedrooms and five bathrooms. This pricey condominium features a gourmet kitchen furnished with Wolf appliances as well as a Butler's kitchen, used for entertaining. In addition, it has a suite of bedrooms, a private office, a private elevator that leads to a custom-made ski preparation room, a wine room, an expansive media room and a Jacuzzi. The master suite also comprises a wet bar.

The penthouse has numerous balconies from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Park City as well as the ski resorts in Deer Valley.

The property also includes 2,000-square-feet of outside space furnished with heaters, a barbeque grill, an enclosed hot tub, fireplace and a bar, making it an ideal place for outdoor living and entertaining.

The living space in the unfurnished unit of the penthouse is 5,000 square feet and has been listed for $12.5 million.

In 2008, Schnatter acquired the property from a developer and only furnished one part of it, using both units as an investment.
