Real Estate News: Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty Offers Real Estate Training and Support Program to U.S. Armed Forces Personnel and Veterans

United States Armed Forces personnel and veterans, along with their spouses, can now join the Real Heroes program provided by Bekshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty.


According to their press release in PR Newswire, Real Heroes is a real estate career training and support program that offers free training, licensing and marketing materials to active military personnel, to veterans, and even their spouses.

The Real Heroes program of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty is designed to provide the following:

Getting Started in a Real Estate Career
• Real Estate License Class Scholarship
• Paid Real Estate Testing Fee

Launching Your Business
• Free Business Cards
• Free Name Badge
• Free Mailing announcing your new career and affiliation with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty
• Free access to the BHHS Recourse Center
• Free Signages to promote your Open Houses

Ongoing Support
• Paid Real Estate Board Dues
• Paid Error and Omissions Insurance
• Paid BHHS Monthly Technology Fee

Here are the requirements and procedures as posted in the Preferred Realty website.

Real Heroes Program participants must be a member or a spouse of a member of the United States Military Service. Participants must complete the Program Addendum. Participants must also record all waivers and reimbursements on the tracking sheet provided by his/her manager. An agent, as also provided in the guideline, shall not be reimbursed for any fees not included on the written program offerings.

Reimbursement will cease once $2,600 has been reached, or at the agent's first year anniversary of membership. An agent must as well remain active with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty for a period of two years following their active agent status. If the agent does not remain active with BHHS The Preferred Realty, or records two closing in a two year (24-month) period, the agent will be responsible for returning all funds received pursuant to the Agreement. If an agent or the agent's spouse is deployed to an area where a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brokerage does not exist within 30 miles, the agent will not be responsible for returning any funds.
