iPad Pro Release Date & Deals: Verizon Announces 24-Month Payment Plan, Contract Prices For The Apple Tablet

Mobile wireless carrier Verizon has announced earlier this week that it will sell Apple's latest supersize phablet, the iPad Pro. The company's customers will be offered with several options, a report from iDigital Times said on Thursday.

Verizon customers will be given flexible payment options if they won't pay the $700 cost upfront. On Tuesday, Verizon director of corporate communications Kelly L. Crummey, announced via Twitter the company's available installment plans for iPad Pro.

"iPad Pro coming to Verizon tomorrow: $44.99/month for 24 months w/device payment - add it to your plan 4 just $10 per month on Verizon plan," wrote Crummey.

Analysts claim that Verizon is doubling its efforts to attract more subscribers to avail the company's mobile services. In fact, the company is aggressively changing its market strategy by offering more Apple products which will eventually improve their customer base and allow them to be competitive in the country's mobile market. Since Apple launched new products, the company also launched a series of promotions to lure more customers.

"Verizon is offering the device for $44.99 a month for 24 months (total $1,079.76) in gray, silver or gold. Customers also can get one under a two-year contract for $979.99 or for the full retail price of $1,079.99, with shipments to start by Nov. 20. The iPad Pro starts at $799 for a model without cellular connectivity and went on sale online at Apple's Website today. It will be available in Apple stores and in select other stores later this week," EWeek reports.

"AT&T is offering the iPad Pro that's equipped with WiFi and cellular connectivity capabilities for $54 a month under a 20-month installment plan (total $1,080) or for $979.99 with a two-year contract. Customers can order the devices through AT&T's Website or in its stores with shipments expected to begin on Nov. 16. AT&T customers can add iPad Pro to an existing Mobile Share plan for $10 per month. The tablets can be ordered in silver, space gray or gold," the report said.
