'Once Upon a Time' News: Dog Days are Over as Cruella De Vil Returns to the Show for a Short Time

There have been some rumors roaming around that Cruella De Vil, played by Victoria Smurfit, will return to 'Once Upon a Time.' Smurfit will be appearing only for the second half of the season, but will not be performing in the 100th episode.

According to TV Guide, no one really knows how the damsel will return after Emma (played by Jennifer Morrison) had flashed her off a cliff. There's gossip that 'Once Upon a Time' will visit Hell in the second half of the season, where many will re-unite with others who have died. Based on the rumor, can anyone probably guess how Cruella will return to 'Once Upon a Time'?

Even if Cruella De Vil was murdered by playful Emma, there's some good news that Smurfit is coming back to 'Once Upon a Time.' It would be fine if she comes back for the 100th episode. But she isn't, because she will only be appearing in several episodes in the second half of the season to premiere in March 2016.

At this point of rumors, no one really knows nor have the slightest idea on how is this going to happen. However, fans should really be excited about the upcoming episodes. In any case, Cruella was one of the most talked-about and favorite villains of Season 4, Bustle reports.

Many people speculated that Cruella will be seen in another side of the world, if she is really dead. While the 100th episode is going to be the first expedition of the series into "Hell," it doesn't mean that it's the only episode to spend in there. If the heroes have some demons to confront, they could spend quite a while there as the plot progresses, and Cruella could just be somewhere dangling around.

With so many familiar characters returning to 'Once Upon a Time,' fans will become even more excited to think about what's to come next, and they really can't wait. The second half of the season is when and where the exciting things are really going to happen.

'Once Upon a Time' broadcasts every Sunday at 8pm on ABC.
