The Elegant Metal-Clad LG Class is Now FCC Certified AT&T-Bound

The new iPhones can take a step to the side for a little bit as the LG Class receives certification from FCC and now heading to AT&T.

When the metal-draped LG Class smartphone was unveiled in December, it was coined as the premium phone for the budget-class. According to Phone Arena, it was launched in Europe as LG Zero and is now selling in Italy at price equivalent to US $320. It was expected to soon make its way to the US via AT&T.

And that could happen in the very near future as LG Class has recently received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Moreover reports suggests that it is heading to the second largest carrier in the US, AT&T.

For the information of those wondering what makes this latest LG flagship special, it is ever metal-cased phone from the South Korean tech company, according to Mobile Burn. Don't be a fool by thinking that the budget phone has poor or substandard specs.

Moreover, the elegantly designed LG Class has 5-inch screen with a 720p resolution. Further inside, it has Snapdragon 410 SoC, a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, the Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is 16GB that can be expandable by a 2TB capacity microSD.

The Back of the metal-clad LG Class features a 13MP camera while the front has an 8MP camera for selfies and video conferencing. The smartphone is powered by 2050mAh battery. It will run on a preinstalled Android 5.1. Overall the LG Class is 7.4mm thick and weighs 147 grams.

As for the price, The LG Class is being sold in South Korea at around $339 without a contract, according to Design and Trend. There are rumors suggesting that the LG Class will sell at a cheaper price in the US market and even lower on a contract with AT&T. There are no definite dates yet but the smartphone could arrive in the US any time soon.
