"Dragon Ball Super," the anime TV series from Toei Animation that has been airing since July 2015 will now be available in English dubbing. Meanwhile, titles for upcoming Episodes 19 and 20 were already revealed.
Due to the growing popularity of the show, Dragon Ball Super's "English-language world premiere for Southeast Asia and India" was recently confirmed. Its debut to Southeast Asia and India was revealed in a press release from Toonami.
"This announcement is huge for fanboys and girls in Asia. Dragon Ball is undoubtedly the original and world's biggest anime export, and is a cornerstone of our programming on Toonami," said Mark Eyers, Chief Content Officer for Turner's Kids Networks in Asia Pacific, International Business Times reported.
"Since the channel launched in 2012, Toonami has been airing episodes of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z Kai, and to premiere Dragon Ball Super demonstrates the channel's continued commitment to securing must-have and must-see content, first on Toonami," he added.
As for the western market, there is no news about an English version for them yet.
After episode 18 where Goku is having training with Whis, fans are looking forward to episode 19 on Nov. 15 entitled "Goku throws himself into training under Whis. Meanwhile in Hell, you-know-who suffers intense torment" while episode 20 is entitled "An unprecedented threat bears down on Earth!! At this time, an old friend comes to visit Bulma...!?" that will be aired on Nov. 22, revealed in the November issue of Saikyo Jump magazine, as translated by Kanzenshuu.
On episode 19, the unique strategy that Whis will use to train Goku and Vegeta will surprise fans. Vegeta will become stronger which will anger Goku while they are training.
A threat will come to Earth on episode 20 as Frieza heads to the planet. Meanwhile, Bulma will get an unexpected visitor, Jaco the Patroller. With Frieza coming to Earth, it is expected that Goku will also head back to the planet to save the Earth once again.
