Ryan Reynolds, the "Green Lantern" actor, has finally managed to sell his Hollywood Hills home for $1.4 million, reports reveal. However, the actor seems to have taken a loss on the deal.
The Trulia Blog broke news of the sale, with records showing the home sold sometime in January 2014.
Reynolds purchased the Sunset Strip residence in 2007 for $1.7 million while he was still married to the actress Scarlett Johansson. Apparently, the couple never really lived in the house. The residence, which debuted in the market with a $1.69 million price tag in 2011, received a small price chop before it was taken off the market.
The home was then re-listed in July for $1.6 million. Finally, after spending about seven months on the market, the home has managed to sell, albeit at a $300,000 loss.
Listing records of the home describe the residence as a cozy, 1,789-square-foot single family house. Sitting on a 16,360-square-foot lot, the place is comprised of two bedrooms and two full and one half bathrooms. Interior photos show dark hardwood floors and large glass doors and windows.
The listing describes the home as:
Private sophisticated Hollywood Hills home with entrance through walled and gated courtyard. Newer roof, hardwood floors, solar heating, tank-less water heater, impact resistant French doors throughout. 2 beds, 2.5 remodelled baths, cooks kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Indoor/outdoor living at it's best with lovely patio for entertaining, landscaped yard with private walkways and canyon views. Totally private hideaway located near the end of a quite cul-de-sac off Outpost.

Reynolds and his "Gossip Girl" actress wife Blake Lively also own a large countryside spread in Pond Ridge, New York. They purchased that mansion in April 2013 for $5.7 million. The couple tied the knot in 2012 at America's oldest working plantation - The Boone Hall Plantation - located in South Carolina.
Recently, rumors have spread that Lively and Reynolds' relationship is undergoing some strain due to the latter's role in "Mississippi Grind," which he is co-starring in alongside Sienna Miller.
According to Gossip Cop, however, the couple is doing fine, with Lively living part time with Reynolds in Louisiana, where he is shooting the film.
