Tim Lincecum, the starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, has reportedly sold his condo in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" Escala Building in Seattle, Wa., for $2.25 million, taking a slight loss on the deal, according to TMZ.
The penthouse atop the building was the residence of the troubled billionaire, Christian Grey, from E.L. James' bestselling erotic "Fifty Shades of Grey" series.
Lincecum listed the home in November 2013 for $2.49 million, while public records show the home sold Jan. 29, 2014.
Lincecum resided in the building prior to its rise to international fame. According to the Zillow Blog, the athlete purchased the condo in 2010 for $1.5 million, while the first book in the trilogy was published in 2011.
Listing records state that the condo is a 2,442-square-foot residence, sitting on the 28th floor of the 31-story building. Comprised of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the property includes mixed flooring and large, floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the city's skyline.
Building amenities include a spa, a yoga studio, a gym, a pool, a theater, a dog-run and a wine storage. The building also offers 24/7 concierge service and parking.
The listing describes the home as one "of downtown Seattle's most desirable and hip addresses" with "unbelievable lake and city views from most rooms."

Christian's penthouse, which appears in real life much as it does in the book, sold in 2012 for $6.2 million. The residence with floor-to-ceiling glass windows was marketed with the piano, where the character confessed to Anastasia that he loved her, according to MSN Real Estate.
The movie adaptation of the book is set to hit the big screen Valentine's Day 2015. In the mean time, the media have been following its developments religiously, with tabloids posting weekly pictures of Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) on the sets of the movie.
