Scarlett Johansson, the 29-year-old Hollywood actress who acquired a home in Amagansett, New York recently, has been seen exploring a few real estate offerings in Manhattan.
According to the New York Post, Johansson looked at two properties in the city, including one with her brother Adrian Johansson, a real estate broker.
The report says that the actor took a liking for the striking penthouse located at 230 E. 63rd Street. This 1,743-square-feet property is listed for $4 million and includes two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a living room, a great dining area and a home office. While this penthouse features white oak flooring and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The major attraction of the house, however, is a private roof terrace that includes an outdoor kitchen and wood-burning fireplace.
The listing says that the newly-built property possesses the most up-to-date electrical system for surround sound, sophisticated audio-visual system and wifi. The boutique condominium has a limestone portico reminiscent of a pre-war building and comes with a fitness facility, in addition to a part-time doorman.
Scarlett, along with her brother, toured another downtown property in the Silk Building located at 14 E, 4th Street. This property is listed with broker Frances Katzen of Douglas Elliman for $3.69 million. The original asking price of this property was a few thousand less than $3.99 million. A duplex, the property includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms (two full and two half bathrooms) and comprises two shared units. The place has a broad staircase and two fireplaces, including one master fireplace.
Recently, Scarlett bought a $2.2 million house on Shipwreck Drive in Amagansett close to her friend Gwyneth Paltrow's. This 1.4-acre property features balconies, fireplaces and a deck beside the pool.
