Clash of Clans Next Major Update Includes New Village Guard, Changes in Shields, Session Timers, Personal Break & More; 2-Week Sneak Peek Starts Nov. 23

Recent words from Supercell indicate that the upcoming upgrade will include several exciting changes in addition to the Town Hall 11, new hero and new defense structure.

Since the announcement during the ClashCon that a major update is coming to "Clash of Clans," gamers have been waiting eagerly for it. While it's been taking a while for the update to arrive, Supercell has some good news in an announcement released on Friday.

According to Supercell, there are "quality-of-life changes" coming to the game, in addition to the new TH11 content, with the aim of improving the experience of every "Clash of Clans" gamers. With that, CoC players who will not yet enjoy the TH11 and higher-level perks will still have some exciting things to look forward to in the next major upgrade to the game.

There will be changes in the Shields, including an all-new "Village Guard" concept. Changes will also be introduced in Session timers and the Personal Break, as well as multiplayer matchmaking, league bonuses and high-level trophy calculations.

The "Clash of Clans" Dev Team admits the update has been long time coming, but assures that they are taking the time so that all is well with the balancing and testing before the release. Supercell has also announced that there will be a two-week sneak peek schedule to begin on the week of Nov. 23. There will be several discussions and the planned topics are: Shields - Part I: Attacking and Defending; Shields - Part II: The Village Guard and Personal Breaks; Matchmaking, Trophy Offers and League Bonuses; More Update Sneak Peeks; and Town Hall 11 - including a new defense and a new hero.
