As seen on the latest episodes of the CBS soap, Stitch proposed to Abby when he thought that he loved her and believed that he no longer has feelings for Ashley.
However, intense situations definitely bring out the most intense emotions, as Stitch ultimately realized that he has stronger feelings for Ashley when they were both trapped during the explosion at Newman Towers.
