'Just Cause 3' Update: Even without Multi-P Mode, There's a Lot to Look Forward to Come Dec. 1

The "Just Cause" series' creators have been bombarded with questions on why the open-world, action adventure game didn't put a multi-player mode for their newest game, "Just Cause 3." Despite the lack of multi-player mode, director Roland Lesterlin has said there's something more to look forward to in the game.

"We did talk about it a lot, the modding community even created a multi-player mod for 'Just Cause 2' that was super fun, really cool," Lesterlin told GameSpot.

He added that, "The same way that 'Just Cause 2' was known as a beautiful sandbox in a giant open world, and it surprised many people that consoles could even do that, we wanted to have that same experience... with updated physics and player mechanics, and concentrate first and foremost [on] the main player."

He even admitted that, "Having all these things in there feels perfect for a 'Just Cause' game, it doesn't mean we wouldn't think about what to do with [a] multi-player in the future, but for this first time around we wanted to pour all our love and energy into a great single-player sandbox to start with."

Since players have shown passion for gaming videos online, the "Just Cause 3" development team also felt the high priority laid in producing the original storyline the best they could to give all players numerous moments with the community, Clap Way reported.

Avalance co-founder Christoger Sundberg last year had teased on having a multi-player mode for "Just Cause 3" and he even said, "Maybe sometime down the line we'll take Rico into the modern world of multi-playing."

Avalance Studios created "Just Cause 3" and will be published by Square Enix as well as will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One by Dec. 1, 2015.

As for the PC release, Steam will be offering a special promotion of a 10 percent discount when you pre-purchase "Just Cause 3." It will only be applied to the regular pre-purchase of "Just Cause 3" which is only $53.99, while "Just Cause 3" XL will be for only $76.48, which will include the "Just Cause 3" installer and the "Just Cause 3" DLC: Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass, as well as an Upgrade to XL for $22.49 to those who already pre-purchased "Just Cause 3."

The "Just Cause 3" special offer is available only until Nov. 30.
