'How To Get Away with Murder' Winter Finale Will Leave More Questions Than Answers

The winter finale of the second season of "How to Get Away With Murder" is coming, but are viewers in for some more confusion?

According to the synopsis of the ninth episode, "What Did We Do?", posted on Spoiler Guide, "ADA Sinclair has discovered a break in her favor in the Hapstall case, but her actions result in a deadly outcome as details are revealed about the night Annalise was shot, including the person responsible for pulling the trigger."

Although How To Get Away With Murder fans will be pleased to finally know who shot Annalise, creator Pete Nowalk stated the episode will add more pieces to the unresolved puzzle for this season.

Like in true "How to Get Away With Murder" fashion, the creator said the episode will end "in what we think is the most exciting, satisfying moment."

"There will be some question marks to figure out later on," Nowalk said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. The wait may be a grueling one since the second half of the season won't premiere until next year.

There is much speculation on who shot Annalise. BuddyTV shared their thoughts on who the shooter is with a ranked list, and Bonnie and Connor are their top suspects. Annalise's power-tripping may have already gotten in Connor's precious head, while Bonnie remained incredibly unpredictable this season. However, during the last episode, it was seen that Bonnie took Wes' gun and it might just be the weapon used. Given how the second season is going, viewers can never be too sure on who did what.

The second season of 'How to Get Away With Murder' is performing worse in terms of ratings compared to the first one. The sixth episode proved to be the worst performing one as it was only able to rake in 6.27M viewers -- a low number compared to the season premiere at 8.38M viewers. However, ratings are slowly increasing again with the eight and latest one raking in 6.71M viewers.
