Marvel’s ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ To Have ‘Explosive’ Mid-Season Finale

Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" upcoming season finale will be explosive, Brett Dalton said in an interview with IGN.

Dalton, who plays Grant Ward in ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., promised an explosive mid-season finale for the show's third season. He said it will be something that everyone wouldn't want to miss.

According to him, fans of the show should be mindful of details on how his character, now that he's hailed a director at Hydra, is mirroring the leadership style of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Phil Coulson who is played by Clark Gregg. He asked viewers to take note of how his table is similarly set up like Coulson's. Dalton also mentioned in the interview that the plot twist will surely blow the viewers' minds!

Dalton said there will be a "WTF" moment, which the fans will definitely love.

"It's very, very big. It's very, very big. And also I don't think anybody sees this. This is also something that, you know, even the writers were like, 'Huh. You're never gonna see this.' And I would, like, go home and like, 'Ok. Let me Marvel Wikipedia this. Let me see what I can... I know what's gonna happen. And still, this threw me for a loop. It's a really big thing that's happening. It is going to be a jaw-dropping, W-T...oh, we can't swear on this? W-T-F moment," he stated.

In the previous episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., viewers saw May at her most vulnerable state, which led many to wonder if she had given up on her ex, Andrew, who turned out to be the Inhuman Lash. May decided to put his former partner in statis gel, which led to his eventual coma. Ming-Na Wen, who plays May, tells Hypable via International Business Times that her character hasn't fully given up on him yet and shared that it was a matter of putting him in statis gel or putting him down entirely. Ming-Na Wen said her character remains hopeful for a cure.

The next episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will air on Tuesday, 9 p.m.
