'Dragon Ball Super' News and Spoilers: FUNimation Says Not Involved With Toonami Asia; Episode 20 Preview Trailer Jaco's Appearance is Expected

"Dragon Ball Super" has been announced to head its way to Asia and Southeast Asia as announced by Toonami Asia, but FUNimation says they're not involved with Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific, Inc. On a different light, DBS episode 20 has released its preview trailer and has given fans an inkling of what's about to come in the series.

Toonami Asia is a TV channel owned by Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific, Inc., which is also a Time Warner Company. As reported by Crunchyroll, FUNimation has confirmed via company's representative that the company has "no connection with the Toonami Asia Announcement or the premiere of its English language version of Dragon Ball Super."

It has been noted that FUNimation has been producing "Dragon Ball" franchise on Television for almost 20 years already, and this is the first time that the American entertainment anime licensing company will not produce a "Dragon Ball" series.

The announcement of Toonami Asia about acquiring the license of "Dragon Ball Super" from Toei Animation has also been reported by Ecumenical News. Its announcement mentions that the Toonami Asia "are now bringing the English dubbed version of the hit anime" to Asia and Southeast Asia. But it has not been announced when the avid followers of DBS in these regions could expect the English dubbed version of DBS anime.

On a different note, the episode 20 preview trailer of "Dragon Ball Super" reveals that Jaco will make an appearance in the upcoming episode. Yibada states that episode is already entitled "Warning from Jaco! Freeza and 1,000 Soldiers are Fast Approaching!"

As seen in the episode 20 preview trailer of "Dragon Ball Super," it began with Jaco and his companions, Gotenks and Trunks. Then, the camera pans to "Freeza along with Sorbet and others in a spaceship. The next shot shows Trunks and Gotenks playing with Jaco and it looks like they make him angry."

In the preview trailer of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 20, it is also shown that Goku and Vegeta have continued training, and the two of them are sparring. Fans could expect that "the great villain Freeza and 1000 soldiers are coming."

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 20 is slated for release on Nov. 22, 2015.
