Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have called it quits, but new reports claim that their breakup was just a stunt to promote the actress' new film with Ryan Gosling. In fact, the popular "The Amazing Spider-Man" stars are reportedly very much together and are already engaged.
The jealousy and split rumors swirling about Stone and Garfield seem to have to be taken with a grain of salt as the two are reportedly still together. Reports claim that Andrew started getting jealous of Gosling, who's Emma's opposite lead star in the film "La La Land." Several sites belive that there's a possibility that it was just part of the film's promotion since "The Notebook" star is already committed to his longtime girlfriend, Eva Mendes, VC Post reports.
"It appears that there is no truth to the jealousy rumors as the pair is still very much together. A source even hinted that Andrew is planning to propose to Emma very soon," a source revealed during the time, according to Master Herald.
The site went on to say that Stone and Garfield, who are known as Stonefield, have survived the biggest challenge on their relationship when they first split in March. During the time, it has been reported that Andrew cheated on Emma, but the fact that she accepted him once again shocked everyone. According to sources, they can't live without each other, so they took each other back.
Until now, Stone and Garfield have remained mum on the status of their alleged breakup or engagement. Rumors about them continue to swirl, but as long as they do not admit anything in public, it is said that their split was just used for the interest of the "La La Land" movie.
