"Days of Our Lives" has released a promo video of big drama coming to Salem in line with the soap's 50th anniversary. One of the scenes teased involves Ben setting Chad and Abigail on fire. Will this be the end for Abigail, particularly in the midst of rumors that Kate Mansi is exiting from the show?
Last week, Abigail was able to send a coded message to Chad and Chad realized she is in great danger. Spoilers from We Love Soaps tease that in Days this week, Abigail will try to escape and she will get so close to it. Abigail, however, will be in premature labor. Chad will seek help from Marlena to track down Abigail.
In the promo video, Abigail has already given birth and she and Chad are captured by Ben. Ben ties them both in the bed which he poured on with gasoline. Ben says, "You want to be with Chad, now you can be together forever and ever." He then sets the bed ablaze before leaving the cabin with Abigail's son.
Will Abigail and Chad get out of the cabin alive? Or is this how it is going to end for Abigail?
According to rumors, Kate Mansi, who plays Abigail, could be the next major character to leave Salem. Serial Scoop has posted a blind item saying that a popular star is not planning to renew his or her contract. Kate Mansi's contract happens to be expiring this December and so there is a big possibility that she is the one the item is referring to.
Kate Mansi debuted in "Days of Our Lives" in 2011. Her credits include "Muse" (2015) and "How I Met Your Mother" (2008).
