In the midst of Rossdale's supposed cheating with their nanny, Mindy Mann, the rock star's alleged boyfriend opened up on his affair with Stefani's ex. Born as Peter Robinson, Marilyn claimed that the time of the release of his debut album Despite Straight Lines in the 1980s was also the same period that he was in a relationship with Rossdale. He called him the "love of his life" and also stated that the father of three has a bad record in terms of his relationships, according to Radar Online via Movie News Guide.
"It's about being true to yourself and not being a phony. It's about Gavin. All of this pretending it didn't happen and keeping it a secret, that's really old," he claimed.
INQUISITR reports that Rossdale's alleged boyfriend is planning to release a song about his former lover. He claimed that he's going to expose a bombshell about his unfaithfulness. The former singer continued to say that his song will be about the British singer "going to the altar and getting married and having relationship still going with me."
Rossdale's alleged lover's confession comes on the heels of his reported affair with their nanny for three years. Reports claim that he even left the No Doubt singer's side after she gave birth to their youngest son. There are also reports claiming that their nanny Mindy is trying to copy's Stefani's personality by imitating her style and clothing.
Meanwhile, reports claim that Stefani was blaming herself for the alleged affair of his former husband with their nanny. "At first, Gwen blamed herself when she found out about Gavin and Mindy," an insider tells the site. "She was full of regret that she somehow caused Gavin to have a wandering eye, that she could have somehow prevented the affair, that she never ever should have hired someone so young and cute."
