HGTV's 'Fixer Upper' Hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines Decorate Their House for Christmas [PICS]

Chip and Joanna Gaines, the husband and wife duo behind HGTV's "Fixer Upper," recently shared photos of how they turned their charming home into a holiday haven. In the November issue of HGTV Magazine, the talented couple showed how they used their trademark rustic pieces to add cheer throughout their home.

The couple, together with their four children, live in a farmhouse in Waco, Texas. The house, seated on a 40-acre farm, is their dream home. They have cows, goats, and other farm animals within the property, which, for Joanna, is "a great place for making Christmas memories."

They used simple elements in their Christmas decors. Simple wreaths are hung from the exterior windows, and a fresh pine tree sits on their dining room. The tree is decked with teal, gold, and silver ornaments.

Chip and Joanna's Christmas style is definitely family-oriented. On the stairs leading to the second floor, they hung four striped stockings--one for each child.

In the kitchen, above the rangehood, a vintage, metal sign that says "Christmas Trees For Sale" is hung. The couple got it at an antique store for $50. To add more color and fun, candy cane-inspired plates and mugs are displayed on one open cabinet.

The holiday mood goes beyond the common space and extends into the master bedroom. Their private fireplace is decked with a simple garland made from pine and accentuated with Christmas balls.

"This season warms my heart," says Joanna. "I want to celebrate it as long - and as simply - as I can."

Joanna has just recently launched her first furniture collection called Magnolia Home Furnishing. They both return to television with season 3 of "Fixer Upper," airing this December.
