Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kris Humphries sells Miami Beach condo for huge profit

Kris Humphries, NBA star and former husband of Kim Kardashian, has reportedly sold his 1,560-square-foot Miami Beach penthouse for $1.7 million.

The sale follows the news of Kourtney Kardashian's purchase of Keyshawn Johnson's Calabasas, Calif., home and Khloe Kardashian's reported move to sell her nearby Tarzana residence to Kaley Cuoco of "The Big Bang Theory" fame.

Built in 2000 in the Mediterranean style, the penthouse includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large terrace facing the ocean, reports Realtor.com. According to the site, the kitchen's European cabinetry and state-of-the-art appliances are enough to make a chef out of anyone. The master suite is furnished with a walk-in closet, a shower and a Jacuzzi tub.

Located on the 42nd floor of Blue Diamond building at 4779 Collins Ave., the condo was bought by Matthew Quan of New York on Feb. 17, according to The Real Deal, which broke news of the sale.

This was a private sale and not listed in the market; the sale was recorded by the Miami-Dade County on Tuesday.

Residents at Blue Diamond are granted access to a wide range of amenities, including a sauna and steam room, a 16,000-square-foot clubhouse, two illuminated tennis courts and 500 feet of exclusive beachfront.

The 27-year-old Boston Celtics forward pocketed $700,000 from the transaction, having purchased the place for $990,000 in December 2007, The Real Deal reports. Humphries lived there after his brief marriage to television personality and model Kim Kardashian. The couple moved for a divorce in 2011 and arrived at a settlement last year.

Since his 2004 NBA debut, Humphries has played for five different teams. He currently plays for the Boston Celtics.
