Brent Goldberg, screenwriter and actor, lists Sherman Oaks home for $1,449,000

Brent Goldberg, Hollywood writer and actor, has put his 2,800-square-foot Sherman Oaks home up for sale for $1,449,000, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Built in the ranch style in 1950, the single-level home sits on a lush green lot surrounded by mature trees. Ideal for living and entertaining, the house features an open layout, hardwood floorings, vaulted ceilings, French doors and crown moldings.

The house includes four bedrooms, three full and a half bathrooms, an office and a den. The large family room located next to the chef's kitchen is equipped with a built-in barbeque. Goldberg is selling the home along with all of its appliances, including dishwashers and dryers.

According to the listing, the renovated home has zonal air conditioning and ceiling fans in some places and boasts a spacious outdoor living room, which can be accessed from the kitchen.

Also outside is a grassy yard with a sports court, a stone-stacked portico leading to a winding patio, and a panoramic view of the canyon and hillside from the front yard.

The screenwriter's quiet home provides easy access to local schools, restaurants, theaters and nightlife.

Goldberg wrote the script for eight films, including "Girl Next Door," "Underclassman" and "My Baby's Daddy." He also acted in four films, including "Pretty Persuasion" and "Van Wilder: Party Liaison."
